From jobseekers: full name, kennitala, date of birth, contact details, address, nationality, languages spoken, education, work experience and skills, availability, CV, photo, and any certificates you upload. From employers: company name, contact person, contact details, and details of the staffing request itself. We only collect what a registration or request form actually asks for.
We process this data to match jobseekers with suitable roles and to fulfil staffing requests from employer clients — this is a legitimate interest of ours and, where you register or submit a request, is also based on your consent. Where we place you with an employer or act as employer of record, processing is necessary to perform that arrangement, and in some cases to meet a legal obligation (for example, payroll and tax reporting).
We use your information to contact you about your registration or request, to shortlist and introduce candidates to prospective employer clients, and to keep our records accurate. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal effects on you.
A candidate's CV and profile are shared with prospective employer clients as part of the placement process — this is the core purpose of registering with a staffing agency. We also share limited data with service providers who support our operations, such as our hosting and email delivery providers, under agreements that require them to protect it. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
We keep registration and request data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you re-engage with us — typically up to 24 months from your last activity, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless we are required to keep it longer by law (for example, payroll records).
Under Icelandic and EU data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. You can also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority (Persónuvernd, personuvernd.is) at any time.

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
